    According to this technical update post, the drop was normal, the propellant settling thruster (which looks like a solid rocket motor) fired as expected, the main engine lit and the guidance system began to steer the rocket. Around 9 seconds after drop, the main engine quit due to a malfunction yet to be analysed. The rocket remained in the launch corridor and fell into the ocean. The flight termination system was not activated.
