Apparently, French knows better than McCarthy

Must be nice to be so darn smart, to know so much better than someone who was a Federal Prosecutor.

Love the scare quotes around the word spy, as if being an informant is not a type of spying.

But hey, he has his principles.

  1. French is a liar and an unprincipled turd. This is the man who within a week went from finger-wagging scold decrying the NFL for banning players from kneeling as curtailing free speech to cheerleader praising ABC for firing Roseanne because of speech he didn’t like. His only principle is that he is for anything that makes Trump or his supporters look bad no matter who he has to support to make that happen. He deserves every bad thing that happens to him.

  2. Interesting paragraph from The National Review article:

Second, while Gowdy poured cold water on the notion that the investigation was irresponsible or an abuse of power, he said nothing about its ultimate outcome. The question of whether the FBI or any other intelligence agency abused its power is separate from whether there was any collusion. Responsible investigations can yield no evidence of wrongdoing. Abusive investigations can still uncover criminal activity. Gowdy’s arguments give us a measure of comfort about the inception of the investigation. They do not shed any meaningful light on the collusion question.

So according to The National Review article, “abusive investigations can still uncover criminal activity.”

Sure on the face of it that can or  could be true. But this is  whole ‘nother ball of wax. The Mueller “investigation”  has allowed the Dems and the liberal media ample fodder for headline after headline in which the American public is told 24/7 that the President is not to be trusted. After all, if he was to be trusted, why would so many inside his campaign operations and inside his Administration need to be investigated?

And as a Sherlock Homes fanatic, the article is as important for its non-reference to the dogs that don’t bark as well as for its referring to those that do. Where is there any reference to what those of us who are critical of the Mueller probe have now figured out? We have experienced a tremendous awakening as far as a nightmare in the USA –  That our Alphabet Agencies have been politicized. How has that demonic reality escaped the purview of the folks writing for the NR?

  3. That IG report must have some very nasty stuff for the kamikaze tactics these deep state defenders are showing.

“One political party using the intelligence agencies to harass and cripple the other party is ok. Nothing to see here, move along…”

“Covering up elite corruption is okay because they are special people….”

Whatever they say, the statements above are their meaning.

  4. Trump Derangment Syndrome is real.  He’s going against years of conservative advocacy, and burning up vast amounts of goodwill to be the servant conservative of the left.  (I say servant and not pet, since most leftists actually love their pets)  The last areas to fall will be abortion, firearms, and the military.

This honestly scares me.   I really despised Trump in the lead up to the election – was I actually on the path to becoming a hippie wimpycon?

It’s especially rich that Gowdy has any credibility left after completely blowing the Benghazi hearings which should have been a slam dunk.

I am actually a huge Gowdy fan. I would not be surprised if French was lying about what Gowdy precisely thinks about this whole mess. The people at NR, with very few exception and it depends on the topic, are the ones with zero credibility. At least as far as this collusion mess goes McCarthy is the only one with any clout in my view. Reading anyone else regarding this topic is a waste of time.
