  1. Nice. Are the flowers very occasional?

    I live in a strange area where cacti and ferns are both plentiful (via active gardening). But the only cactus my family ever kept was a Christmas cactus. Succulents are generally preferable.

  2. They’re beautiful.  It’s hard to tell the scale – how large are the flowers, say, compared to your hand?

  4. The lateral view is astounding. I had no notion that the flowers did that. Thank you for the report and the pics.

    How is that done? Up here in the Family of New York, if you want both you have your cacti indoors for sure, and your ferns  either indoors in a dark room, or outside in the shade.
