The Tides Turn

I sense we have achieved the point of over-reach by our enemies.

Claimants are now backtracking from sworn statements
Charges have moved to “throwing ice”
Mitch McConnell has declared there will be a vote
Jeff Flake seems to be realizing he just really really is left holding the ACME anvil while standing on thin air…

The rally strategy and constant counter attack on the media is working.

Pollsters have begun their shift to more accuracy as election day gets closer and can no longer get away with push polling.

POTUS is wearing a hard hat before electrical contractors talking jobs and paychecks versus the Democrats babbling about stuff the voters really could care less about.

The Kavanaugh show is redundant and boring, no one is amused except the lunatic faithful liberals.

Welcome to Red October

Bee-yootiful – what a perfect picture for this cartoon hearing!

I love these reports, TKC.  “Sense of the TK” is how I think of them.

In this bit are you referring to his appearance at some Globalist rally, his speaking in a confidential and triumphant manner to the audience, and then his being the target of obscenities hurled at him from said audience?  Such an experience would make a normal person realize what a horror he has wrought. But is Flake normal? Does he understand?

Scarier than that even is the next question. If he realizes his situation, what will he do? He could be chastened and rational, or he could just go out in flames of gibberish and a no-vote. What is he calculating? Is he calculating the consequent attitudes of his future employers on the TV show circuit?  What a short-term and paltry consideration that is, when in his capacity as Senator he could have dealt in a consequential way with serious questions of good to the country.

Sorry to harsh the mellow; I struggle to be an actual Happy Warrior!

  3. The Democrats are down to hoping that the FBI discovers that some Kavanaugh statement, some minor, inconsequential, meaningless detail, is arguably false.

“He lied under oath!   He lied to Congress!   He lied to the American People!    He lied, he is a liar, liar liar!!!”

  4. After adding the final blow to Kav, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, Flake NOW feels Kav was too sharp and partisan?  I guess he’s right!  It was RINO Flake who really deserves his anger!

TKC, I hope you are right about all this.  Hope hope hope…

  5. All democrats and one republican said after Dr. Ford appeared that the FBI should do an update investigation and media and all democrat talking heads joined that theme. Now the FBI doesn’t know how to conduct such background investigations if one listens to these same people.

Obviously, Flake running for POTUS is a hilarious idea but I can imagine him being accused of some fabricated sexual indiscretion and how I might enjoy the weasel defending himself.

  7. The look on Flake’s face when he was being berated by the woman at the elevator was the sorriest piece of stage-acting I’ve ever seen. As if that wasn’t deliberately filmed to announce how hounded and miserable he was over the whole thing. Is this the ‘horrendous pressure’ that Senators cave under whenever they are on the fence about a decision? Somebody speaking forcefully to them? The President’s choice word gutless comes to mind again. What a joke Flake is.

  8. Flake has shown he is not to be counted on, I hope McConnell has the votes safely wrangled and we can get this good man on the bench without that spineless wonder.  Mitch has not always been my hero, but on judges, the guy is a total rock star.
