  1. Wear shorts. shorts. Good heavens, proofread yourself once in a while.

Still don’t know, in this font, if it’s Al or Artificial Intelligence.

Can I blame Big Oil for that mistake?

How  cold is global warming for you, Pencil?

I never thought about the AI angle. (Did I just set myself up?)

  4. We are at -19 right now.  Our furnace can’t keep up.  The family room is a balmy 62 with three space heaters added to the mix. The sun is up now, so opening the window shades will help warm things up, along with melting the frost on the inside of the windows.

I absolutely guarantee that someone will be out in shorts today. Wearing shorts as a way to fight against winter is a Chicago thing. Algore should wear shorts and ride the icebreaker down the Chicago river.

  5. 10 Cents:

It’s a bone-chilling 60 F here. Plus, it’s raining! I got a little wet walking from the car to breakfast.

    Horrible.

    Have you no shame?

My comment was educational, in a subtle way. It partly explains why people come to, and stay in, California even though it’s bat-guano crazy. As Naval Ravikant pointed out in a recent Periscope, California has a monopoly on the dry,* coastal, temperate territory in North America (maybe the world). Here’s your choice: freezing your bottom off while shoveling snow in winter and sweating like a pig in summer versus going to the beach to view the Giant Swan Invasion and hiking the local mountains while enjoying the clown-car show in Sacramento. At some point, the clowns will get too obnoxious and I’ll leave.

*even though it happens to be raining at the moment

I’m usually not subtle so the slower members can understand. Was this your first one?

I added the emphasis for a slower member. 🙂
