  1. Did you listen to the whole thing? On the whole it was pretty good but both these guys are SJWs in their own right. Dave Rubin had to push back on some of their TDS.

I put this post up after I listen to the first part. They are not Trump supporters but they have some good points. I disagreed with a lot what they said. Anybody who can show up the crazy thinking is worth a listen.

They make some valid points but through the distorting prism of leftism. It’s instructive to consider than these guys and Sokal are all leftists. They imagine that they can point out the absurdity of the hard Left and that, somehow, it will make grievance studies folks come to their senses. They’re trying to reform the system from within. In this, they are mistaken. Because they are inside the bubble, they don’t really understand the hopelessness of their effort.

I could tell you hadn’t listened to the whole thing. 😉

I find honest differing viewpoints refreshing. One can not change things without seeing how the other side views things. Without seeing that one just talks past one another.

I agree with that. My point was more to do with the fact that all the Sokals of the world are lefties. Most folks on the other side don’t have any illusions that the system can be reformed from within. It’s too far gone. The academy must fail as alternatives arise, as we were discussing in the recent La RAMU. Keeping the system going merely enables the SJWs.
