Boston May have a Straight Pride Parade

I saw this story on some social media platform and it just made me smile. Apparently a group in Boston has sought permits to put on a “Straight Pride Parade” sometime in August, and of course the reaction from the Skittles community and their friends has been complete outrage.

The big question is Why the outrage? What does a straight event have to do with them? What are they so afraid of huh? That a bunch of straight people may march around downtown Boston with the their kids celebrating normality? Or that maybe some of these straight people may couple up, get married and have straight babies and flood the country with normalcy. OH THE HORROR!!!!!

I pray these organizers can pull this off and I may go up to Boston to attend this parade. The Skittles community has seemed to have failed physics, in that with every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. So if you have gay pride parades, then you will have straight pride parades. It’s just science.

  1. This will go the way of “All Lives Matter”.  Heterophobia is rife in our country.   I hope I’m wrong!

You are wrong. The skittles types make up a very small percentage of the population but are grossly overrepresented in media. I think this type of pushback is a sign that people are really, REALLY tired of this kind of degeneracy being shoved down everybody’s throats. Even some gay folks are tired of it. But because the activists can’t just live and let live and they are targeting the kids, you will see backlash.

The elites in media are losing their grip on their power and will do what they can to maintain it but eventually they will fall.

  3. I went to the parade sponsor’s site.   SuperHappyFunAmerica.com has a flag that they want to fly at Boston City Hall on parade day.

    https://www.superhappyfunamerica.com/

The mayor of Boston declined the request.   The Super Happy Fun America people are threatening to sue on the basis of sexual orientation discrimination.   From PJMedia:

In response, the organization announced, “we have determined that a parade would be the best way to promote our community and its diverse history, culture, and identity.”

“For now, it’s necessary to remind the city that they are legally obligated to treat straight people the same as people of other sexual orientations. MGL c.272, s.98 prohibits discrimination based upon sexual orientation in places of public accommodation,” SHFA wrote, using the sexual orientation gender identity (SOGI) law against its intended purpose.

“The Mass Commission Against Discrimination is going after the City of Boston for refusing us the flagpole, but everything else is moving along nicely,” John Hugo, a 2018 Republican candidate for Congress in Massachusetts and SHFA president, told PJ Media on Tuesday.

    Good work.

  5. Boston already has two Pride Parades.   They have the Boston Pride Parade this week, and they had the ‘South Boston Allied War Veterans Council’ Evacuation Day Parade back in March.

The old now defunct South Boston St. Patricks Day Parade had prohibited gay groups from marching ever since gay groups had applied to join the parade.   But the City of Boston and Gillette teamed up on them to change the rules and force the inclusion of gay groups.   The Archdiocese of Boston no longer sponsors that parade.

He is beholden to donors and special-interest groups who oppose them.

That’s an incredibly ugly flag. They need some gay guy to design a better one.

Not gay enough for DocLor’s tastes.

“Hey, when you have kids and your spouse is yelling at you who has time to design a flag.”

Actually, it’s too gay. But you need a gay guy to design a less gay one.

  9. This is exactly what is needed. The Left has established numerous laws by which their ideology has advanced. It’s time those laws are used against them.

    the Skittles community

You crack me up. And thanks for adding another arrow to my quiver.

I have to admit I didn’t make it up myself. I got it from a traditional Catholic YouTuber. It’s pretty hilarious, so spread it far and wide.

    Good work.

These guys are my heroes.  More groups need to do this. Can we get some lawyers to work pro bono on these types of cases? Or start a GoFundMe or something?
