Dearborn Al-Quds Day Rally

Iranian Shiites held a rally to celebrate Al-Quds Day.

“Many people from across the community and across the Muslim world at large have been swept away by the tide of American patriotism. They are proud of America, its freedom, its democracy, free speech, freedom of religion… At the same time, they look down upon the Islamic countries from the high horse of American exceptionalism. How these countries are backwards, corrupt, unorganized, and you have heard more… For that I would like to call the attention of those individuals – however they might hear this – that the amenities and luxuries that they are enjoying in this country are attained at the expense of the rest of the world.

“American military campaigns, economic sanctions, and political arrogance are the only things that keep America where it is. it has been so since they first came to slaughter natives and enslave Africans.

“We don’t point our fingers at the current idiot in the White House, but at all of the criminals and terrorists who held his position before him.”

“And I would like to make it clear to those individuals who like to sing the national anthem and claim that America has given us so much opportunity that America has not given us anything that Allah did not intend on giving us. Just as the Pharaoh did not do Moses a favor by raising him in his corrupt palace. Because the only reason Moses was there in the first place was because of Pharaoh’s slaughtering and enslaving of Moses’ people.

“Likewise, America has not given us anything that we would not have gotten in our homelands, in the company of our own people – were our lands not invaded and colonized and were our people not slaughtered and exploited.

Just another day in America.

  1. MEMRI provided the translation and photos:

    https://www.memri.org/reports/quds-day-rally-dearborn-michigan-israel-cancer-will-crumble-less-25-years-our-leader

The main speaker was a local guy whose name they did not report.   Also:

Sheikh Usama Abdul Ghani, a D.C.-born Shiite imam who studied at the Islamic Seminary in Qom, Iran, also spoke at the event, saying that Israel is the “head of the snake” behind all the oppression in the world. He also referred to Israel as a “system of cancerous oppression.” The audience chanted: “Away with the humiliation!” The video was streamed live on Facebook by the Al-Quds Committee, which describes itself as “an effort to peacefully raise the voice against atrocities and human rights violations of Zionism.”

  2. Too funny,,they’re standing in our  country claiming we  colonized them.  And : the American military “slaughtered natives and enslaved Africans”?  Uh…the Muslim  conquest of Africa was in the 7th century, and they took the intracontinental slavery trade international.

    Time for  some credal cleansing.

  3. “Backwards, corrupt, unorganized…”

Can we get a “tyrannically oppressive”? And a “rigidly intolerant”?

I had no idea that “Al-Quds” is Jerusalem in Arabic.  Is this common knowledge?

No.   Few Americans can even equate Shia Islam with Iran.

  5. I can’t resist, let’s review:

Okay, so Jerusalem is the capital of the Jews, 1000 BCE.

Then it’s the site of Jesus’ ministry and death.

Then 632 years after Jesus, Mohammed has a dream about it.  A dream. He never actually went there.  Didja get that? A fantasy, a confabulation, a hallucination.

…and yet,  Muslims somehow feel Jerusalem belongs to them?

And Leftists all over the world, most egregiously including American Jews, agree?

And worst of all, even in Israel, Jews are surrendering the Temple Mount to the Djinni-come-lately heretics.

Surely some revelation is at hand……

I wouldn’t say it is common knowledge. You have to know something about the history of Islam and the language.

  7. Islam is a spiritual wasteland because it is outright worship of Satan. These people are ignorant of their own history, which prevents them from reforming it. They are arrogant because that is the tone of voice in their holy books. They are more than happy throwing their lives away for evil because their lord has no other use for them. Islam de lenda est!

The story of Mohammed’s supposed ascension into heaven is from the Hadith, from about 200 years after Mohammed.   They say Mohammed ascended into heaven from next to the church that stood on the Temple Mount.   It is the basis for Islamic claims on Jerusalem.

  9. In connection with the ongoing Muslim conquest of America, have you noticed how clever they are?

On the national stage, who are the loudest and most familiar voices?  Omar and Tlaib— women!  Who, in their native cultures,  wouldn’t even be permitted to show their faces nor raise their eyes, let alone their strident voices, in the presence of male Lords of Creation.

They are using both America’s long-standing policy of complete equality for women, and  the present lefty “#metoo”  insistence that all American women, no matter how successful or privileged, are victims of harassment and oppression.  ( As Ann Coulter has ably argued, women have never,  in all of  history,  had it so good as they do vis a vis the American male.)

But the spurious synthesis that emerges is sump’n like: you don’t dare attack poor li’l Omar, (for whom Congress’ long-standing prohibition of any kinda hat was  changed just so she could continue to sport a dizzying parade of fashionable hijabs, the symbol of female oppression! ). Nor brave, more stridently secular Tlaib!  Why, she’s  out there doing a (Muslim) man’s job!

And they’re right.  We do not dare.

Have you read Daniel Pipes’ book, Militant Islam Reaches America?  Every effing thing he predicted is coming true.  We now recognize Muslim holidays, etc.; we allow and encourage Muslim prayers in our public fora.

    WTF is wrong with us?

Just lookin ‘ up the two famous Muslim sieges of Jerusalem.  Both are said, now, to be “bloodless”.  (Well, yeah, if you’re being starved to death there isn’t much blood..)  but my point is that the accounts now leave out the negotiating skills of the 7th and 12th century leaders of the (hopelessly outnumbered) Christians: the Byzantine patriarch Sophronius and the Crusdaer Governor, Balan.  They made deals to save the lives (though not the freedom) of the inhabitants of the city.

Why are we allowing, nay, colaborating, in the Muslim siege of America?  Why are we importing more and more of the  enemy?

Why are we afraid, or ashamed, to take our own side in this ancient war of Jews and Christians vs. Islam?

  11. …and see, what really gets to me e is:  if you wanna say all 3 Abrahamic creeds are a buncha hooey, well, okay.

But then why would you privilege Islam?

And as I’ve written ,if you leave  out  religion,  and just consider historical patterns of occupation and sovereignty of the Jerusalem area:

Why would you privilege the Arab and Turkish invaders? Yes, invaders, conquerors, colonists, s’what I said.

You said it! And while I’m on the subject, I grew up in a suburb of Detroit about 30 miles from Dearborn. Last time I flew into Metro, my cabbie had to make a detour off the Lodge freeway due to traffic and we ended up doing a drive-by through this unsavory community where nary a storefront sign was written in English- all Arabic. The community looked like Dresden after WWII and my driver who was black and lived in downtown Detroit was even frightened.

To quote him specifically: “If it’s ok with you, I’d rather sit in freeway traffic. These people are crazy. No extra charge.”

I responded: “Get me the hell outta here and I don’t care what it costs.”

I don’t think qualifying as halal is quite so offputting as, say, food offered to idols, which is the subject of First Corinthians chapter 8.   It just means they pay an imam to show up at the slaughterhouse to do a cursory inspection and say the requisite prayers.

This came up a few years ago and made the rounds (at least four years ago).   Butterball said at the time that their slaughterhouse practices would qualify for either halal or kosher slaughter, but that they were not paying for either an imam or a rabbi to inspect the slaughterhouses and say the prayers.   So, at the time, Butterball turkeys were not certified as either halal or kosher, but were only lacking in the prayers.

I have not tried to see if there have been any changes.   (My info is almost two years old.)

Pourquoi? Not enough Christians in this country to support a regular slaughterhouse? This is nonsense.

    Ottoman Turk(ey)!

About foods offered to idols, I read somewhere that the Greeks probably only ate meat at the time of an animal sacrifice.

heres what I really wanna know: how come we see so many more halal stores now than we did before 9/11?  Why didn’t we round these bozos up and kick ‘em out then, instead of beggin’ ‘em to more than double the number of mosques in this country?

For the same reason we allowed a mosque to be built two blocks from Ground Zero. For a while, NYC construction workers refused the job, but the local Imam raised enough money and workers from Islamic states to build it.

May I note this mosque went up under the mayoral oversight of Michael Bloomberg.

Building a mosque is a symbolic act; they do it at the site of a victory.

Because conservatives trusted the GOP to put the interests of Americans ahead of the interests of America’s enemies.   Because Big Media and Big Entertainment and Progressive Democrats have convinced their core voters that their moral code demands endless kowtowing to anti-western cultures.

    May God bless President Trump.

This sickens me. Why did you know this and the NYC council did not?

The NYC Councilpersons do not want to know.   There is no need to know pesky details that get in the way of the full multicultural embrace of the most anti-western minorities available.
