SQLite Code Rules

https://sqlite.org/codeofethics.html

The Founder of SQLite I heard was forced to put up a “Code of Conduct” and put up an interesting one. I had never heard of this. I was reading at PJMEDIA how a knitting site Ravelry has decided to take all things Trump from their site because it was deemed to be too unwoken. In the discussion a reference was made to SQLite founder’s code. It surprised me. How did he ever get away with this?

    • You can still participate if you do in fact support the administration, you just can’t talk about it here.

    Sieg Heil.

  3. In Ravelry case, this is what happens when you read the “tabloids” that the MSM has become. They believe the libel/slander and they make the judgment call. I do wonder what happened recently to make them change their policy.

  5. This is…weird.  There’s a little rainbow flag everywhere, which may explain a lot.  Knitting/crochet has found a bit of a renaissance among the hipster crowd.  There are so many patterns available from other sources…who cares.  Fools.

Lots of people on other social media complaining about injecting politics in something that, previously,  was apolitical.

Yep. Looks like another notch in the belt of the LGBTQRSXYZ community. I’m so over these “whatever they want to be called today”, let’s go with things.

  7. I love the rules for SQLite.   Here is the description from the linked article at PJ Media, which is about Ravelry:

Something similar happened at SQLite, the world’s largest database engine, after SJWs demanded a code of conduct. Founder Richard Hipp responded by posting “The Rule of St. Benedict,” sparking outrage.

    Three cheers for Richard Hipp.

  8. We were talking about Ravelry at Happy Warriors.   Here is the description of the Leftist SJW victory.

    https://www.themarysue.com/ravelry-bans-support-of-donald-trump-white-supremacy/

“It’s a surprising turn for any massive social networking site, let alone one devoted to the seemingly apolitical world of fiber arts. Ravelry boasts over 8 million users across all political spectrums, so for them to come out not only against white supremacy, but against Trump himself is a bold and courageous move.”

Because to these people, President Trump and his supporters are white supremacists.

Bold, courageous, and deadly to the cause of liberal democracy.

Do you like any of the rules? Which number?

I am really partial to rule # 1.

    1. First of all, love the Lord God with your whole heart, your whole soul, and your whole strength.

I struggle with some of these

Struggle?  Are you kidding me?  This is a life-denying catalog of strictures.  Sheesh!  Maybe those maniacs who think The Handmaid’s Tale  is a prophecy have a point after all.

As for the knit-wits, idk, I have a hard time caring.

But of course it is neither bold nor courageous to take the actions that the SJWs want.   You only have your little business crushed if you cross them.

Okay, it was just a cheap shot that connected to some leftist meme, “The Handmaid’s Tale”. I don’t think that was fair but hey I am having hard time caring about roasting friars. I am imagining a big poster at the monastery saying, “Get a Life, You, Life-deniers!”
