The Humorless are Off Their Meds

I hope to have fun with this post. In the title I connected to the proverb that “Laughter is a good medicine.” Sadly, the humorless are off these meds. They take themselves and their causes too seriously at times. They often can’t take a joke and they can’t make a joke. Things have to be “racist”, “sexist”, or “hate speech du jour”. People need to be punished because they want people to suffer like they do. Their favorite saying is “It’s not funny.”

I am a little late but I think this was funny. Only someone off their meds would have trouble with it. Trump 7000!

I do hope that Ratburger.org will be a great place where people can kid each other and have fun. Some jokes will fly and others will bomb. We can talk about serious things and we do.  In a good sense I hope we are on our “meds”.

When I look at the 2020 Dem Candidates, I don’t see much humor in the lot. Have I missed someone? Is their a contest to not be a Good Humor Man? Is that why white is a color they don’t appreciate?

  1. All you need to remember is Clinton miming solemn horror at the debates when Trump was asked if he would accept the results of the election, in the event he lost. “If it’s fair,” he said.  And Clinton:”He’s saying he might not  accept the results, that’s an assault on democracy!” (Paraphrasing).

And yet…. when Clinton began her assault on the election on Nov 9, when she repeatedly stated and still states that the election was “stolen” from her—

Nobody even finds it funny?  Nobody, on the Left at least, sees even a smidgeon  of irony?

    It is an effing laffriot!

I’ll tell ya what: I see her entire “he done me wrong” demeanor as an insult to all American women and their accomplishments.  Why doesn’t everybody see it like that?

Hyp, this is terrible but sometimes I want to pay for a sex change for some guys because I don’t want them in the same group. Do you ever feel that about some women?

  3. Hyp, I also liked all the Republicans saying they would support the party nominee solemnly. Then when the people picked the “wrong” nominee they threw the party under the bus.

Thanks for citing this.  It is funny and not a serious matter.  But the humorless see no humor while considering it a sign of a serious threat.

They did just the same when DJT made that remark a while back to the effect that he could pardon himself.  Normal people found that instantly hilarious, while the left went blue-faced with contempt and indignation.  I saw that myself.  It was ugly.

Trump does have a gift for bringing out The Humorless.

Which is why no RINO, squish, or cuckservative will ever receive my vote again.

The left are the modern puritans

Not to mention the Amish and the Mennonites (especially in terms of environmental issues and modern technology).

I mean, I usually wear black anyway, but I refuse those dreadful bonnets. 🙂

Thought this was a pretty funny, but sadly, astute comparison, BGS.

I do.  Speaking only for myself,  that is my feeling about the so-called third wave modern feminists (or something equally silly they call themselves).   The only thing they have been good for (as far as I’ve seen evidence of) is giving women a bad name.

In my twenties, gals on my side of street had a piece of good advice to cure their perpetual bad attitude.  But as the comment is not very nice or polite and utilizes a F letter word to describe an activity that would put them out their misery, I will not post it verbatem, rather I will leave it to the readers’ imagination.

Of course we recall “Republican” Podcasters who threw the GOP under the bus by trashing the nominee with slanders borrowed from the Left and recommending against voting for said nominee, calling such a vote “immoral.”   And we also recall that referring to one of said Podcasters as a “QuislingCon,” or as a “cuckservative,” earned a suspension from that other place.

Mike, try to be nice. They have lost a whole lot of traffic.

All snark aside, I’m surprised to read this. Really?

It should not be surprising, and was predicted by some who are no longer welcome there.   They decided that they had achieved great “balance” when they got to only 60 percent Never Podcasters and Never Contributors.   But with only slightly over five percent of their target market choosing to follow the Nevers over the Hillary cliff, it was clear that they have a fundamental disagreement with the market that allegedly is their target.

So we can suppose that you are not knitting a pink pussy hat for when you join the next march?

Their current Alexa ranking is #236,541.  I don’t think that’s very good.

NO pink hats for me; I am sick to death of listening about gender. It’s an insult to me and my accomplishments.

Let’s talk about the bottom line. How much profit have you made for your company? If you think this is a ridiculous question, you shouldn’t be working at all.

Er, no.  I consider myself a “man’s woman”; I just do, always have.  There are plenty of women and men I don’t like, but the less I like them, the less I’d want to be on the hook for the costs of their self-maiming.
