  1. This is not fair and cruel. There are no DQs here. This is from the Dairy Queen Wiki page.

Japan (withdrew in 1999; expected to reenter)

I was two miles from home and there is another within 3.

I just promised to take Snooks for a DQ tomorrow afternoon.   It is supposed to be raining.

This comment brought back some humorous memories when my brother and sister-in-law would visit us from CA. Even though my parents owned a huge condo with an Olympic sized pool on the damn beach and my dad belonged to the best golf club in town, the three little rascals always wanted to stay with my husband and me who didn’t make breakfast or lunch and went out to eat every night for dinner.

The one thing those kids always wanted to do after suffering through a day swimming in a regular sized pool, making their own daily meals and eating at adult restaurants at night was to go to the DQ!

    Every night.

  6. Bryan,

It is nice to have family traditions.

Family traditions of making the best of things and never giving up; those are really good traditions.

May God bless your search, and, more importantly, may God bless your kids.
