  1. I knew it would be Merle!

The annoying thing about those who criticize “love it or leave it” as Fascist thinking, is that they ought to read commentary on this site everyday. We challenge many who serve in government, but never, ever have any of us referred to the U.S. as “evil” or “wicked.”

There’s a hell of a difference between trying to protect our values and destroying them altogether.

Yep, and make no mistake, Ilhan Omar hates Jews and Christians and wants to destroy America and its traditional culture. She should be sent back, without question.

  3. As for the other three members of the Squad supposedly being Americans, I’ll say this: a cat born in a stable ain’t a horse.

    SEND HER BACK

I heard President Trump fibbing about how he tried to stop the chant by quickly continuing his speech, and disavowing the chant.   In fairness, “Send Her Back” is very different from “why don’t they go back….” which is that he had tweeted.

But I think she should be deported.   She obtained citizenship through a fraudulent marriage to her brother.

Say what??!! I need details here.

Well, maybe I overstated the case, but there is so much smoke here there are probably at least three or four fires in the Ilhan Omar story.

The problem is she’s a legal citizen so we’ll have to settle for getting her out of D.C.

Or legally revoke her citizenship because it was fraudulently obtained.

Or prosecute her for tax evasion and send her to jail.

Either one would be a suitable strategy.   Both would be preferable.

    Lock Her Up.

If this can be proved, then I’d rather send her back to Somalia. Wouldn’t you love to hear Ayaan Hirsi Ali (a native born Somalian) on this topic?

  9. Ayaan Hirsi Ali, like Ilhan Omar, is from Somalia.  Hirsi Ali underwent extensive Islamist brainwashing to make her hate Jews, which she describes in the article below from the Wall Street Journal. (It’s paywalled, but judicious inquiry might yield a copy.)

Hirsi Ali’s description of the Jew-hatred endemic in Islam, and how it’s drilled into you at every turn, is scary.  It happens at home, it happens in the mosques, it happens in the madrassas, and, since in countries like Somalia, Islam is both a personal faith and a public ideology, you can’t avoid it.

This is what I’ve read so far. I am confident AHA will come out with stronger statements if her security guards allow her to do so!

I admire this woman more than I can say.

Say what you will about Judaism, the inculcated hatred of Muslims and Islam is not endemic in that faith. Sure, you can probably find instances of rabbis teaching others to despise Islam, but you’d be hard pressed to make the case that formal education in hatred of the “other” is equally pervasive in both Judaism and Islam.

Hirsi Ali overcame her hatred of Jews, but pulls no punches about claiming that her fellow Somali Ilhan Omar is still afflicted with it—as do I. Dislike of Israel and Jews is characteristic of “progressive” Democrats, and was inevitable the moment that Palestinians were deemed to be “persons of color”. Intersectionality theory is, after all, a hallmark of Leftist “progressives.”

  12. As far as comparative religions go, the Old Testament describes everlasting enmity between Israel and the descendants of Ishmael, but as something to be mourned in sadness, and not exacerbated by continuing war.

Compare that to Islam, where the Koran says Jews are to be killed, but not with the same bloodthirstiness that is to be applied to killing Pagans.   However, the Hadith makes a big deal about how Muhammad fought Jews, ordered Jews to be murdered, and approved of one of his Captains who ordered Jewish prisoners to be beheaded.   That forms the model Islamic behavior towards Jews.
