  1. Remember when Ambassador Haley was taking names? I miss her.

Love the idiot CNN talking heads reacting to that.

  2. Wonderful!  I think it should be played at ear-splitting volume every time  Illwind Omar opens her excrement-colored mouth.

  3. Amusingly, the Hebrew title above the English title,
    סופר טראמפ
    is decoded by unum as:

Octal Decimal Hex HTML Character Unicode
       02741 1505 0x5E1 ס "ס" HEBREW LETTER SAMEKH
       02725 1493 0x5D5 ו "ו" HEBREW LETTER VAV
       02744 1508 0x5E4 פ "פ" HEBREW LETTER PE
       02750 1512 0x5E8 ר "ר" HEBREW LETTER RESH
       02730 1496 0x5D8 ט "ט" HEBREW LETTER TET
       02750 1512 0x5E8 ר "ר" HEBREW LETTER RESH
       02720 1488 0x5D0 א "א" HEBREW LETTER ALEF
       02736 1502 0x5DE מ "מ" HEBREW LETTER MEM
       02744 1508 0x5E4 פ "פ" HEBREW LETTER PE

    (recall that Hebrew reads right-to-left).

Note that Trump’s name is written with an alef, which is usually transliterated as “a”, so the title could be read equally well as “Super Tramp”.

    Logical, I suppose….

That’s funny. I wonder if that’s because there’s no closer vowel equivalent in modern Hebrew for the English pronunciation.

Well, basic written Hebrew doesn’t really have vowels, per se.  Vowels are written by adding points to the consonant letters, but this rarely done in advertising, signs, and logos because it clutters up the appearance of the text.  I don’t know how “Trump” would be written with vowel points.

Right, but Hebrew still has vowel phonemes. According to that link, there is no mid central vowel, which is what you need for the American pronunciation for Trump. The kids sing it more like a near-open central vowel.

  7. The sentiments expressed were genuine yet sad to know there is no replacement on the horizon for this man who takes a stand.

At some point we divide into people who worry about trans bathroom rights, intersectionality, cultural appropriation and pronouns Or

people who see people in squalor in the inner cities, who see children living under rocket attacks, who see towns decimated by globalism

The divide is growing and those who assume the rest of the world cares about unreality and uptown problems in great numbers will lose.

I hope we see a similar sentiment occurring in the inner cities of this country emerging, that there is another way and leaders who will stand for it.

  8. This is Trump’s name Japanese with the transliteration.

    ドナルド・トランプ

    Donarudo Toranpu

The “u” in Trump because the “a” sound.

If you go to Trump’s wiki page then press to see another language on an iPhone you will see many languages and their spellings.
