Proactivity Rules

McConnell should immediately make a floor speech, and issue a “sense of the Senate” document stating clearly that the chamber he leads will not ever hold a trial or even consider any pseudo-article of impeachment issued by a secret House-member cabal.  Our Constitution clearly states that only the House of RepresentativeS may issue a lawful article.  Notice that “S“, denoting plural, meaning the House as an entire, inclusive entity.  Schiff’s committee has no authority by itself, nor does Pelosi.  All other blather and bickering is irrelevant and should be ignored by McConnell.  The corner Nancy has painted herself and the socialist Democrat party into is inescapable without severe political damage to them, no matter what the outcome of an impeachment inquiry vote might be, and no matter if they never vote as the House.  Trump ensured that by releasing the conversation transcript, despite doubters of his strategy, as usual.  I’m stocked up on popcorn, tears-of-joy towels, and confidence in President Trump.  Don’t be a nail-biter, naysayer or worrier; rather, join the fun.  Our only task is to personally do whatever we can to promote and facilitate getting out the Freedom voters for the election.  That is all, Ratters!

  1. Thanks, TW!   Yes,  our days of complacency, of going along, of blessed confidence in the normalcy of the quotidian, are OVER!

“The  words that called up the lightning/Are hurtling through my heart! “

2020 is going to be one hell of a year.

We have a leader matched to the times,  but the problem is, he has no subordinates he can depend on.  None.  They just can’t seem to take any position and stake themselves to it, lash themselves to the mast.  How I despise them.
I want to believe you’re right, that our  faith and perseverance can bear Trump through this.  For today, anyway, I’ll take your word for it!

  2. Well said.  I do believe Mitch knows he is up for election but timing is everything. The longer Schiff and Pelosi are the faces of this, the better for Trump.

  3. I am really curious as to why any employee of any federal agency has appeared to testify to Adam Schiff’s rump tribunal.   President Trump has rightly called it a kangaroo court; why hasn’t he forbidden cooperation with the double-secret show trial?

Not true.  There are still palace intriguers and many black-hearted jackals around him, but take heart in Barr, Pompeo, Pence, Mulvaney, and his entire communication team.

There has been some strong supporters in the House, maybe a total of one third of Republicans, but only a handful of senators.

Then why doesnt Barr indict someone perps?  My confidence was shaken when he wouldn’t go after Comey.  (And BTW the excuse  proffered: that they’d never get a conviction in DC , made no sense to me.    They never heard of moving for a change of venue? )

And Mulvaney? Seems he, like Giuliani, is locutionally challenged, he just doesn’t know when to shut up.

on another  note: I guess the Syria ceasefire is going really, really well, after the first 24 hrs glitch.  It must  be, isnce there’s nothing about it in the news, and you know there would be if they thought they could pass off some smoky footage fromTenessee  to prove how Erdogan had played Pence! I dunno, couldn’t they just steal some footage from one of those extremely violent Blow-up-the-World video games?
