What is the flower’s name?   In english please   :-).  Thank you.

I don’t know flower names. I am botanically challenged.

Me too and also Latin challenged.  And reading Japanese language challenged.   🙂

So, I think I will follow the first commenter’s lead and call her “Beautiful”.

  2. Lovely picture, tenth-of-a-buck!  My latest camera, a micro-4/3, is light enough to hang on this and not upset the elevation motor or balance too much.  I’m armed and dangerous!

C’mon, man, it’s “they”, not her.

Now I officially hate myself; TV has been horrid lately.  Sorry, TT!!

BTW, that is a Camellia.  We have an identical one right outside our kitchen window.  Ours has big buds now but no blossoms.

Perhaps a camellia? We have some in the patio but they’re not in bloom now.

Osaka is at 34.5 degrees latitude. I’m at 45; where are you?

I’m at 33.8 N but there’s more to it than latitude. Rome and Boston are at about the same latitude but have very different climates and flora.

I wish you would give me some latitude, Doc.
