The Age of Entitlement

Christopher Caldwell has written a book called the Age of Entitlement about why it seems that public opinion of the majority doesn’t seem to be listened to. It’s a fascinating thesis. You should check out his interview with Tucker and let me know what you think.

  1. I watch Tucker religiously; he is an awesome pit bull who calls it like it is. Interesting that he chose Caldwell for the interview who irritated me with the comment”If a good decision isn’t arrived at democratically, then so be it.”

    Scary.

  2. And the media are the ones who portray and magnify EVERYTHING that progressives want into a ‘historical crisis’ that demands immediate action by fiat.

I’m sorry, I can’t stand the media. And lawyers are right behind them on my list. Way too many disputes are settled because people want to avoid Lawfare.

That is a good point. But also most people can’t afford law fare. Maybe instead of the big donors funding the think tanks they set up Charles Murray’s idea of a Madison fund, so that regular people can afford to wage law fare.
