Dissemble, our Don!

Sometimes I wish Trump wouldn’t be so brutally honest.  No, not in connection with his Twitter insults: love those! only wish they were stronger.
But like today, I heard him making remarks, and he said the person he’d least like to run against is Sanders.  Because Sanders has actual followers.

Shhhhhh!   He’s right about this, I’m afraid, and Sanders’ voters can be heard musing,”Everybody said Trump couldn’t win, either…”

Sanders appears to be winning NH as projected.  We WANT the Dems to try to destroy him, like they did in 2016.  We want a brokered convention, where Clinton is drafted as nominee, picks Buttigieg as VP, and Sanders runs  as independent or as head of a new party.  This scenario would guarantee at least a plurality for Trump.

The Don is, as always, the smartest man in the room.  But in this instance I wish he’d be a bit stingier with his perceptiveness.  Let him dissemble and say he dreads facing Biden in the debates (well, maybe even Dems wouldn’t be fooled by that; it’s so obvious Trump would wipe the floor with Uncle Joe) or that he thinks Buttigieg  has real appeal!    Because, so far, only Sanders is dangerous.  He has a coterie of devotés who feel he was cheated last time, and who love him because: free stuff!  The hard left and the gormless millennials make the basis for a pretty big coalition.   And ironically, they’ve got Trump’s 2016 example to inspire them.

The Dems are too stupid to realize all this.  Let’s KEEP it that way!

  1. Nothing Trump said isn’t already known. But, look at it this way as much as the deep state and the rest of DC hates Trump, they hate Bernie more AND Bernie does not have the intestinal fortitude to stand up to them. The Bernie Bro’s will find out real soon that Bernie is a paper tiger who is only out for Bernie.
with that is when the Bernie Bro’s realize this…… they may get violent.
this isn’t good but it was inevitable.

This is what drives me crazy about the media and all the censorship. Just because they deplatform people doesn’t mean these people just go away. They go underground and probably get more radical because they are forced into an echo chamber. It’s like these stupid groups that want to censor everyone think “ok, took care of that problem”. No you didn’t you idiots. Ahhhhh this is what I mean about Bernie’s  rise being inevitable.

  2. So what will the Democrat elites do?

Are they going to steal the nomination from Bernie again?  I think they were planning to do just that in order to give the nomination to Joe Biden.

But now that Biden is sinking fast, what is their Plan B ?

Are they willing to steal the nomination from Bernie in order to run Mayor Pete?  Or, can they possibly boost Amy K. to the nomination without de-motivating their base?

Are they stuck with Bernie now?

A more moderate candidate would hurt Trump in the fall. Bernie has support but that support has a ceiling.

They don’t have any moderate candidates left.   Andrew Yang dropped out.

All they have is far Left and farther Left.

I don’t know what they are going to do because Bernie has a problem. You know all of those “people of color” the Democrats need to rally together to win elections…. they aren’t down with Bernie. Right now they are coming out of basically liberal states that have more melanin deprived people so the support for Bernie is higher. The problem the democrats have is that their base is composed of people that have nothing in common, and no one who can appeal to them as a whole like Obama did. So the blacks like Biden but hate Bernie, Warren, Klobacher and Pete. But the white, woke lefties like Bernie. the more moderate whites may go with Pete or Klobuchar but i don’t think anyone actually likes him. Those people just aren’t socialists and know that Joe Biden is a mess.
The democrats have got real problems, and Mike Bloomberg is not the answer

I wrote “more moderate” which means Mayor Pete or Amy for voters. (I think Biden is gone.)

  6. Well, I think Trump exactly wants to face Bernie.
What Trump wants they hate. What Trump hates they want.

Trump has been goading them about. “ this country will never be socialist “ for 2 plus years.   This has always been about Bernie and the squad.

He wants to run against Bernie and the squad.

I think it is a bad idea to adopt the messaging of Leftist mass media.

The term “moderate,” when applied to the Left, should indicate “center-left.”   But Mayor Pete is way beyond “center-left,” he is fully Leftist.

We should not let media push wrong labels.  The low-information voters are at stake.

Do not use the labels of the Left.

Most Dems are too stupid, but they do have some really clever people on their side.

In the current circumstance, though, I think they have promoted their extremist Left too much for them to be able to dial it back for the general.

It seems to be shaping up to have a classic clash between traditional American Exceptionalist versus Communist globalist in the general election.

And the killer is, I think it will be a close race.

I’ll go out on a limb and say, no it won’t. I think there will be a bunch of surprises, just like ’16 only way worse for the progressive elitists. The black vote won’t come through for the Dems, kind of no matter who they pick. They won’t vote for Bernie, and they definitely won’t vote for Budigeegegeg. Klobachar is not likely to inspire anyone but the DC crowd, and they aren’t listening to the country anyway. BLAXIT per Candace Owens is definitely on the horizon. Remember, all those black votes have been historically Republican until FDR came along with his public works acts, and the depression was so bad for blacks that any job was simply survival. They can be peeled off from the Dems with a little effort, and Trump’s approach of jobs for blacks and opportunity zones (or whatever they call them) are a big boon – something they can decide to either vote for or at least stay home and not vote for the Democrat.

Then there’s the blue collar vote. The union leaders are for Biden out of habit and because there’s no one else TO support. But I don’t think the rank-and-file will go that way. Things are too good for them to vote Democrat.

It’s really only the loud, clueless media/elitist types who are howling “ANYONE but Trump!” The rest of the country is more or less behind Trump. I predict November will be like the slaughter of McGovern or Dukakis. And will that not be sweet! Just imagine how a loose Trump with a mandate will look.

I took this negatively as well because the Don seemed to be admitting that Socialists have made a strong impact on American voters. Ok, they have because nobody wants to work.

In reality, DJT could use facts only to dissemble any argument this lunatic could make.

If I were the dismissed Steve Bannon, I’d advise him to start hitting on Bernie and the fallacies of his arguments immediately. Be pro-active.

Don’t. waste. one. damn. minute. Destroy him now. He is a menace to our way of live and his popularity has progressed far too quickly.

  13. @devereaux, I shuurrrrr  hope you’re right!

ET, I think young people as a generation are in soooo much  debt for their largely useless educations.  Even the kids of those of us who paid mightily so they have no debt  can’t  escape feeling an injustice was done to their peers.  Which it WAS.  So they like B.S’s BS.
