Nazi, Schmazi

The news in brief: Calling Republicans “Nazi” is good; calling Democrats “Nazi” is bad.

Chris Matthews now Enemy of the People in Soviet Mediastan, must be purged.

In point of fact, he used a remarkably apt analogy to describe not Sanders as a Nazi, but the media as a bunch of Vichy cowards.  That’s the real crime committed by Citizen Matvieski.  “It’s over.”

  1. ?Haven’t we already established that the media always blames or claims the right is or does what in fact they do. ?Why should this surprise you.

Ain’t surprised, Hoss.  The news here is the way they are breaking for Sanders, despite the DNC/Bloomberg assumptions to date.

  3. Two thoughts:

When my daughter graduated Temple University in 2011 Chris Matthews was the keynote speaker at graduation. As he was introduced I thought, “Oh, here we go.” At that time the job market was at a low, especially in Philadelphia. Well, he talked to the students about the importance of getting a job – getting any job – a ground floor job, a maintenance job, just Get A Job and Work Your Way Up. That was the entire gist of his speech. I looked at my husband when he finished, shook my head in disbelief & said “Huh. That was good!”

Second: It is apparent that these Dem celebrities mentioned in the link in the OP, who think Matthews’ likening of Jewish Bernie to the Nazis is unconscionable, have no corresponding thought in their empty brains that it is unconscionable that Jewish Bernie subscribes to the ideology that has historically proven to lead to the persecution of ‘his people.’

  4. Boy, when I read the link Hawk put in, I don’t get that Bernie was compared to a Nazi. What Matthews said was that this was like the Blitzkrieg in the early war. Most of those generals were not Nazis but just German military. Indeed, unlike many in our flag ranks who have embraced all the leftist gobble-de-gook, they stuck mostly to military tactics and strategy.

So Bernie has swept through the early primaries and appears to have won the nomination of the Democrat party. If you understand English, there was no comment that Bernie was a Nazi. I guess by this standard we should not study the German offensive strategies to see what we can learn about warfighting. Now that would be appropriately stupid for the left. The Army studies Nathan Bedford Forest for his tactics, which they apply to armor units fighting style.

I did read one of Chris Matthews’ first books and thought it was good. I don’t know what happened to him but I sure hope it is not catching. I think he grew up well but something happened maybe in the need to chase ratings.

Yeah, but Forrest’s tactics is all just so much Jewish Physics now.

  7. Matthews is (or was) an interesting character, who once guest-hosted the Rush Limbaugh show, and who at a dinner somewhere defended Rush from scurrilous slander.  I forget the details.

It seems to me that Matthews doesn’t even really work — he just has a conversation and crazy thoughts are free to jump out of the conga line in his head and jump onto the talking trampoline.

Same here; I even watched his show during the Bush/Gore campaign and was impressed at how critical he was of Big Al. I think he is no longer strong enough to resist the overwhelming tide of liberalism.
