  3. Columbia Journalism Review has spent the past two decades monitoring the demise of journalism.  They started getting downright hysterical in the past five years.

    Google and Facebook killed them, with an assist from Craigslist.  They responded to the pressure by playing ‘follow the clickbait’ for their Leftist base, which meant even more bias in their work than ever before.

    All the major news media outlets are subsidized by their owners, either as vanity projects or loss-leaders.

    America will be better off without them.  They are the Enemy of the People, aka the Talking Snake Media.

    Respectfully, I don’t think it’s ironic. The left has defined freedom as the government elevating humanity beyond what it is since the French Revolution.
