Vote Blue No Matter Who

We now have proof that the Left would vote for Nancy Pelosi’s pet rock if it were on the ballot in November. Not sure what “The Pod” is – probably an invading army of nomadic parasitic body snatchers (i.e., globalist socialists).

I know. Maybe Doc was looking at an old Reagan supporter.

Not with those other whackadoodle stickers.

My favorite site for historical data still uses the other convention, as does the rest of the world. Red is the color of the Socialist International and socialist parties around the world. Blue is the color of conservatism.

Switching the colors was a great disinformation campaign. Excuse me for a moment while I get my tinfoil hat. Electromagnetic fields and chemtrails, you know.

I’m wondering what that logo is on the far left that looks like a drunken bird.

This is trivia but I heard Twitter’s logo is “Larry the Bird” because of Larry Bird. Larry Bird finally got famous.

I see it now. Everyone knows that is the left’s equivalent of the eye on top of the pyramid. If you look close there is a cheerleader swimming in the waves.

  4. “The POD” refers to Pod Save America, a far-Left podcast run by a bunch of ex-Obama whackadoodles. They’re well-connected, and have a lot of money (including an HBO development deal, shock).

Quite naturally, considering their fanbase, I refer to them as Pod People.

No tinfoil hats needed, but do not trust that Smithsonian article linked by Damocles.  It says that it was just happenstance and different networks doing things differently from cycle to cycle.  They jump from Reagan’s elections to Bush v Gore in 2000, skipping over the part where the media slimeballs put their conspiracy together.

They called it the “Media Combine,” and the core was jointly-sponsored polling, especially election exit polls.  The legacy alphabet networks paid for joint polling in all but a handful of swing states in order to save money.  To streamline reporting for live video election night broadcasting, they decided to use the same color maps.  The Combine deliberately chose to flip the colors because red is the color of alarm and because Democrats wanted to avoid the association of their Party with the color of Communism.   I believe the Combine got started in 1988.   It was very influential in 1992 via pre-election push-polls.   That was back before American voters ever heard the term “push-poll” (and, I think, before that term was coined).

I think the last year of the Combine was 1996, since consolidations in media led to the owners of the networks getting more competitive, since by then cable networks were stealing market share from them.

Anyhow, the decision to tag Republicans as red and award the Democrats with true blue was a definite media conspiracy.  No tinfoil required for this one.

  6. I think a blue MAGA hat would just not be the same. But seeing Joe Biden in a bright red disco suit might be worth it. “Stayin’ Alive Woo Woo!”

    chemtrails

    That’s so last decade.   🙂

Maybe once upon a time, Folks who spoke of chemtrails were ridiculed, but so what, those people were stupid.

Today, all us ‘smart’ kids  ‘know’, they are not chemtrails, they are geo-engineering aerosols.   And We need them if we are to save the planet from evil mankind!

[imagine loud giggling on this end of my virtual pen as I wrote the above]

No worries. I never trust anything from Damocles.

So sad about the Smithsonian.   I used to be a subscriber.  They went down just like the rest of media.

I try to keep up but these things just move too fast for me. How about EMFs? Are those still hip?

EMF allergies mean no wifi during the lockdown, so all cases went into spontaneous remission.

There’s always GigE but I suppose that also emits.

Add New York Times, Washington Post, Atlantic, NPR …

Although I suppose that was the point. 😉
