    Countries are rediscovering borders. Isn’t that something!

    The U.S. and the E.U. strike me as the only entities on the globe with even the slightest constituency for open borders.  Everyone else never “undiscovered” them.

    Yeah, well, I don’t really care too much about what “everyone else” is doing. Furthermore, Japan appears to have newfound enthusiasm for borders. It’s not 2019 anymore.

    Yeah, well, I don’t really care too much about what “everyone else” is doing. Furthermore, Japan appears to have newfound enthusiasm for borders. It’s not 2019 anymore.

    Japan has never lost their enthusiasm for borders.  Of all the westernized countries, they are the most insular.
