  1. I believe Turzai is also introducing a bill that would put PA’s state-run nursing homes into public-private ownership. So that the likes of Levine and Wolf can never again order nursing homes to take contagious sick people against their better judgement, resulting in the spread of the sickness and probable rise in death rate among the nursing home patients.  https://www.timesleader.com/news/783436/gop-leaders-push-for-hb-2510-to-safeguard-seniors-in-nursing-homes

I thought they ordered private facilities to accept returning contagious Wuhan Virus patients also.

    New York did.

It did not matter that the homes were privately owned and operated.  Big Healthcare ordered them to do what they knew they should not do.   Over in New York, the association of long term care facilities objected to the rule, and they were specifically instructed to take those patients or lose their operating licenses.

  3. Don’t let NJ’s Murphy off the hook.    NJ did the same with nursing homes as NY and PA.  Of the 10,385 WuFlu deaths in NJ, 5,408 were in long term care facilities.      52%.   It didn’t just happen.    Government went out of their way to create this disaster.

Thinking about it … Wolf, Murphy and Cuomo panicked.   They let themselves get stampeded by the worst-case modeling and, with visions of overflowing hospitals in their heads, just threw the nursing home patients to the wolves.  The result was entirely predictable.   It’s negligent homicide IMO.

In Cuomos case I don’t get it.  Why didn’t he use the ship and the Javitz Center?

Back then he was still in Hair-on-fire “We need 40,000 ventilators!!!” mode.   Based on the worst-case models, he had already mentally filled those Javitz and hospital ship beds and more.   I believe he was panicked and grasping at straws.

Also, both of those facilities had been arranged by order of President Trump.  Making use of them would give President Trump a photo-op that would be useful to the Trump 2020 Campaign.  So, a good Democrat would do anything to avoid actually using those facilities, even if it meant killing off a few thousand old people.

It truly is and they should face charges for it. Elected officials should be held accountable in certain cases, this being one of them. It Pennsylvania, the Dr. in charge, (the he/she), elected to remove his/her aged mother from a long term care facility before it was announced and then put her in a hotel/motel. Now, just  like elected officials, who sold stocks with inside information, why isn’t the he/she going to be prosecuted? he/she knew darn well of the consequences, otherwise why move his/her mother? Me thinks this should be a murder case.
