Sharyl Attkisson Reports on the politics around Hydroxychloroquine

Sharyl Attkisson did a great report on the politics surrounding the drugs Hydroxychloroquine and Remdesivir. It’s a report worth watching how there might be financial incentives in pushing one drug over the other (huge shock).

Also (and this is my opinion) it is possible media companies can be persuaded to push a certain story regarding a drug due to pharmaceutical companies who advertise on those media channels may be producers of the drugs. There are way too many conflicts of interest going on for my comfort level.

Unbiased and expert.  Political content of  input data is unknown.  What we DO know is that hydroxychloroquin is prophylactic against malaria, civilian and military, administered over years.  There may be ocular toxicity after 20 years of administration.  Your personal mileage may vary.  We know for a fact that the original molecule, chloroquin, is particularly nasty and should be removed from the pharmacopoeia.

Chlorisondamine was a hypertension med of modest value superceded by better pharma.  It was not banned until a remarkable side effect appeared.  One pill removed nicotine cravings in people for 1-3 months.  Instant cure for smoking tobacco.  Politics?  Well….

Gilead’s remdesivir is overtly, seriously  toxic in ~25% of administrations.  “The most common adverse effects in studies of remdesivir for COVID‑19 include respiratory failure and organ impairment, including low albumin, low potassium, low count of red blood cells, low count of platelets that help with clotting, and yellow discoloration of the skin” DOI:10.1016/S0140-6736(20)31022-9  However, it is hugely expensive.

  2. Mate De, thanks for making me aware of this video. I waited to watch it because I thought it was longer. I like how Sharyl Attkisson had her five Emmys on the mantel in the background. It is sad that the media made people afraid of a 70 year old drug.

One should always follow the money. It is one of the easiest ways to see people’s priorities. The news media is makes money by being anti Trump.

HAHA I noticed she had the Emmys just sitting there as if to say “Go ahead and call me illegitimate. I’ve got these Emmys”. But I find her old school “just the facts” reporting really refreshing. Just the News is a pretty good outlet to check out if you just want straight up reporting.
