Disgusting News Coverage

This is almost too much to bear, as far as things seen on the internet.  I’m just hollow.

From the disgusting article:

A police officer who was shot in the head during a Las Vegas Strip protest of the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis is paralyzed from the neck down, on a ventilator and unable to speak, his family said in a statement released by police.

Officer Shay Mikalonis, 29, was shot June 1 during protests over the death of Floyd at the hands of police.

I commented on YouTube on Channel 11’s er, channel:

“Protests”? Hey Channel 11, what will it take for you to call something a riot? Or an uprising? Or civil unrest? Or mob violence? SHAME ON YOU.

and

If Republicans brandish so much as a receipt for bait & tackle, they get called armed extremists, but Democrats shooting cops is “protests”. SHAME ON YOU Channel 11. You know what this is, and if you won;t call it what it is, you;re part of the problem. These are riots — this is leftist mob violence. Shame.

And look what the video is!  “Don’t catch cold while shooting cops and burning cities!”

Channel 11 (wherever they are) has been all over my YT feed since this stuff started blowing up.  You;d think they might report it straight — but no.  I’m sure they all feel smug and secure on their moral superiority and their infallible style guide (“One space after a period, Heathen!”), and they don;t care what some unbeliever has to say about their mere choice of words.  But words mean things, and Channel 11 is down with the riots.

Gosh.  I’m all out of non-obscene words.

  1. There is a lot of rioting which isn’t even being covered, according to people I know in Brooklyn, in Philadelphia, and those are just two cities.  Just wanton destruction, by people like that guy who gratuitously bopped that old woman in the head.  So there’s no percentage for the Left in reporting on it. “The blood-dimmed tide is loosed…”

Years ago I read a novel where some character says:

”That which I feared most has come upon me.”
