Did you join Parler? What do you think about their indemnity clause?

I was interested in joining, but I’m not very interested in this clause:

14. You agree to defend and indemnify Parler, as well as any of its officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any and all claims, actions, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to all attorneys fees) arising from or relating to your access to and use of the Services. Parler will have the right to conduct its own defense, at your expense, in any action or proceeding covered by this indemnity.

  1. Dan Bongino is all in with Parler, including a financial stake.  These terms and conditions are surprisingly one-sided, arbitrary and subject to change without divulging any details to users.  I was tempted to join, but now I’m definitely not gonna.  Thanks, Damocles.

At least they are explicit. I’d want to consult a Pennsylvania attorney regarding the extent of gab’s indemnity

Gab’s terms are asymmetrical, as such things always are, no worse than Twitter or any other social media platform. Is there something as offensive as Parler’s clause, quoted in the OP?
