Enjoy your one, one hundredth of a cent, and just to cover for the second image; image source. I hope you choke on it you fugitive from a rag bag.

It will be a damn long time I originate a post in here again. There are other things not posted but said that I find very insulting, harassing and down right bad enough that if you lived withing a few hundred miles of me I would find you and put your lights out.

  1. Admire Gerard for shooting himself rather than costing the State $0.15 for a soft-cast lead bullet.  It may seem picayune, but multiply the coming costs by the inevitable tens of millions.  What is African-American for desaparecido?

  2. I have no sympathy for you, Gerard.  Stealing other people’s material is just plain wrong.  Morally wrong, legally wrong, and wrong on this site, along with wrong all over the internet.  You may leave us in a snit, but you won’t find refuge anywhere.  Good people will call you out wherever you do it.

That you do it without the slightest hesitation and get your dander up when called out suggests you have no respect for others’ property or creative efforts.  Threats of violence on the internet suggests a large chunk of immaturity in your personality, and doing so while too far to actually act on it suggests a large chunk of cowardice in your personality.

  3. You (image source) are a spoiled brat that was gifted with a toy, this forum and you are worse than the people at (image source).

Further if you don’t know of the insults you gave me, you are far stupider that imagined, no wait you don’t have any brains, you can’t be stupid, you’re a refugee from a sock drawer. You play favorites, you let someone go with totally unrelated posts and F-bombs and then harass me about credits.

I have no knowledge what John sees in you to “gift” you with this forum, but he must have blinders on.

To the people on here that have more common sense and decency than you, which is just about everyone, (save one mixed up F-bomb dropper), I will tell the whole insulting story.

A few weeks ago I spoke of a sensitive health issue on here, (or was it on the conference call, no matter). Thinking I might have cancer, my doctor wanted me to go for a procedure. A Mammogram. The results were negative, but the results did show something quite normal, but personally sensitive for many people in my age group; Bilateral Gynecomastia.

Normally in the conference call are adults and not spoiled brats like (image source credit given earlier),  with a sick view of the people that you wouldn’t have a forum without, you badgered me on the conference call about my bra size. Then continued to badger me about my choice of avatars on “Second Life” not mentioning that others choose this type of avatar. I tried to deflect your harassment by attempting to change the subject several times to no avail, finally just gave up and left the conference call.

(For those uninformed, “Second Life” is like Las Vegas, “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas“.)

Your attacks on me, both on this forum and on the conference call are totally uncalled for. You have crossed the line.  You have entered the realm of the notables on (cited earlier). Like I said, if you were in driving distance I would seek you out and put your lights out.

Gentle readers, in support of me, I suggest a one month moratorium on replying to any post made by (cited earlier). This is only a suggestion, answer him if you will, I won’t hold it against you, but just think of what other types of insults or harassment will befall on you if you act either way by the aforementioned individual. (no image instead of a name, sort of sick and tired of citing.)

That was posted on my facebook page by a friend without credits nor links. It helped people have a laugh. I edited it.

Immaturity, read the rest of the story in my previous post, Do I have to cite someone for the phrase “the rest of the story”?

This is an ongoing thing with your illustrious forum monarchy.

Hey uncle al, unrelated comments that should be called out before me, take your f-bomb dropping and getting away with it and shove it where the sun don’t shine.

I read the offending post.  If I hadn’t I wouldn’t have worded my comment so strongly.  I stand by it.

It’s the internet.  People put all sort of memes all over the internet.  People that put stuff out on the internet really like attributions, but I see lots of funnies shared around willy-nilly without attribution.  It is a common practice.  I have enjoyed some but found most to be predictable or lame.  When I share I try to include attributions if the originator is known.  But most of the time, I only know who shared it, and they cannot tell me who originated it, or, if I ask, they seldom remember where they pinched it from.

So we may lament the current state of internet affairs.  But the rampant sharing of internet flotsam is one of the minor problems on the internet.

Bubba, I think you and other have missed the point. There is a big difference between not having a link and crediting oneself for material one did not create. We all know that it is hard to give the right person credit but as much as possible we all try. For some people giving them credit is money in their pocket and further success. Don’t we all want that?

This has been blown out of proportion and has been seen as something it never was. It was just a want if possible that the original writer should get the fruit of their labor.

  10. I stood with many here when their motives were questioned and they were treated unfairly. I have sacrificed a lot of time and effort to help reconnect people. (Not nearly as much as John Walker and he will never get all the credit he deserves.)
Ratburger.org was never meant to be a place to personally attack (private) people.

  11. I agree that I want originators to receive proper attribution and, if possible, reward for their creative effort.

I just thought that proper attribution of internet memes on social media platforms is so rare that it was unseemly to chide someone for sharing an unprovenanced meme in a relatively small group.

Ratburghers sometimes fall into the common trope of insults as a vehicle for humor.

Sometimes people get hurt feelings over a slight that was intended as a joke.

It would not be possible to keep Ratburger.org free of such incidents.

    Thanks for trying.

    Viva Ratburger.org.
