Is There an “International Right”?

If there is, I reckon it’s as cowed and pusillanimous as it is here.

Last week’s London Times Literary Supplement has a huge,  unflattering picture of Trump on the cover, with the headline “Will He Go?”

And last night I saw Lindsey Graham and Mitch McConnell, in two separate interviews, essentially saying, “We’re going, we’re going, dont you worry!” When I saw Graham, earlier in the day, I couldn’t  figure out why he said that; by the time I saw McConnel, I had heard about Trump’s latest “outrageous” comment, which came down to “I’m going to win the election.”
OMG!!! How dare  a candidate,  and a sitting president,  say such a thing?  Yet it has the GOP pissing itself.  I briefly hoped they mighta gotten used to being winners, but nah. It’s c-c-cold and windy up at the summit!  They’ve had enough.  They wanna get down…
And the international Left has the whole world  fantasizing about Trump as Mubarak or Qaddafi; witness the TLS.
Scusi, ma….. isn’t it Clinton who spent the last 4 years not accepting the results  of 2016?  Who said Biden should not concede “under any  circumstances”? Who said Biden shouldn’t debate Trump because he is “not a legitimate candidate”?   Wasn’t it Pelosi who ripped up Trump’s State of the Union address right above his head,  while he accepted the applause?  (Literally shredding our traditions..)   Did we dream  all this stuff?

Извините,  но….How has the International Left convinced the world that it is Trump who is a threat to democracy?

And why isn’t there an “International Right” to counter its lies?

  1. Is there a neutral election poll whose content is gathered from unchosen unorganized people casting their most honest and sincere opinions – painfully – from their wallets?  Putting yourself and your family in economic peril – in hard times –  for an abstraction – is the white-hot sharp edge of truth.

If I were the Light Bringer, I’d be opening up a new subdivision.  The queue to enter Hell will be long, wide, and Progressive.

  2. It there an International Right?  No!

Does anyone still read the London Times Literary Supplement?  Not really.

The whole Right/Left is part of the “Divide & Conquer” movement by which those who seek to control us keep us distracted.  The real difference is between those who want Big Intrusive Government (generally “takers”) and those who want Focused Limited Government (generally “makers”).  The BIG guys are well represented by the billionaires of the Democrats and the wanna-bes on the Republican side.   Since President Trump does not fit with the BIG guys, they want rid of him, whether they march under the Democrat Banner or the Republican.

Face it!  Those of us who want Focused Limited Government have lost;  the Big Intrusive Government guys have won convincingly.  The only consolation is that Big Intrusive Government inevitably fails.  After the coming collapse, we Limited Government guys will have a chance to try again.

That might not be possible until after an entire generation suffers privation, war, famine, pestilence and death.

oh!  Well, then I must be one of just a handful of subscribers,  so I should be able to influence them to cease with their condescending ant-Americanism…

yes I thing big v.small does sum it up.  And the big guys couldnta been handed a bigger gift than the Sinos’ Infection.

  5. Robert:  “There isn’t going to be a period in which to try again.

Hey!  The game is never over.  Greece fell, and Rome rose.  The Mongols conquered China, and today Mongolia depends on the good graces of China.  The health, longevity, and (especially) the teeth of the English are much better today than they were back before they lost their Empire On Which The Sun Never Set.  Big wheel keeps on turning.

I wholeheartedly agree that we (you, me) will probably not live long enough to see the renaissance.  But the inevitable collapse of Big Intrusive Government (whether sooner or much later) will not be the end of the human race.  Future generations will try again.  I hope we can leave them enough guidance from our experience to help them avoid falling into the same traps that have doomed us.

People are like sheep whether you’re American or not. They need to be told what to do. God forbid you give them choice.

Trump is particularly offensive to the flock because he makes his choices whether you approve of them or not.

I don’t think you saw my reply to you on the other thread.

Yeah, I was gonna enlighten him.  Gavin, Robert thinks we are living in the Last  Days.  And I hafta admit, it seems like all the prophecies are coming true.  And don’t say “T’was ever thus”—or rather, go ahead and say it; that’s just what the Bible says people will say.

  9. I just can’t explain why, if this isn’t the days of Christ’s return, things look eerily similar to the prophesies. I think a great example is the Mark and the language used in describing how things will be with a COVID vaccine or even that piece I posted earlier this week about China’s social credit score. People literally cannot “but or sell” because of how the State measures their “social credit” and freeze their assets and lock them out of employment and ultimately society. And now the US wants to bring that crap here? Yeah guys I would make peace with the Lord sooner feather than later.

What I keep hearing in my head is “every eye shall see Him; all flesh shall see it together”.  When before in human history would that have been possible?

My apologies for missing that.  I tend to do (frequently interrupted) random walks through Ratburger.  Now I understand what you meant.
