What is the deal with the NY travel advisory map?

Is it me, or does the New York/ New Jersey/ Connecticut travel advisory map look like an electoral map? I don’t understand this map  that the overlord Gov Cuomo has come up with. Apparently he’s also trying to force Connecticut residents to quarantine for 14 days if coming to NY. Uhhh, WHAT??!!! Good luck enforcing that one, Andy.

But what do you think about this map? This doesn’t have anything to do with the virus, because no one is actually quarantining. But I’m thinking this has something to do with the election. Maybe not wanting NYers to leave for fear they may vote in other states, if they have residency there? I don’t know but something going on with these travel restrictions.

  1. My first 17 years were lived in  in New York.  I enjoyed Mayor John Lindsay repackaging overwhelming universal corruption as being “stylish.”

NY politics was drawn by neighborhood – every politician and mobster got his piece, albeit sometimes in dynamic equilibrium.  It made no sense to bang on voters.  The pickings were adequate.  You only attacked if they crossed the line.  Increasingly weak dams majorly broke when Salvadorians arrived, hungry for everything and eager to bleed to get it.  Ditto Mexican gangs afterward.

I lived across the street from The Projects, low income housing for thousands on a square block.  A high school buddy lived there, his father a unionized physics teacher in a high school.  40.635031, -73.920579; six stories high, emotional Hell on Earth,  He did better than OK.  His younger brother descended into drugs.  God listened to every toilet flush between the walls and smelled every boiled cabbage dinner permeating the halls.

There is no dynamic equilibrium in New York.  It is now all smash and grab for the strong and suppression of the innocent.  It makes no difference what Cuomo and de Blasio do, including programmed mass homicide in nursing homes.  The Media and Democrat Socialism as a whole run the gulag through recruited politicals in the streets.

The wild card is utilities – natural gas, water, sewage, power, communication.  Will outages be repaired or Progressively abandoned?

  2. Whatever the reason, it is a pain in the ass for me right now.  I’m at a client in central NY and am pseudo-quarantined.  I’m classified (along with my client–a manufacturer) as an essential worker, so I can do the work.  But I’m supposed to quarantine in the hotel the rest of the time.  Utterly brainless.  And the classification is entirely due to travel from my home state and its Covid dangers.  Says the state with nearly three times the per-capita fatalities as my home state.

Turns the truth on its head.

Believe me it’s infuriating to me too. But look at the map, it’s weird. It’s like a mass of red in between the coasts ……..like and electoral map. I don’t know but Cuomo can stick it. When I got back from North Carolina I didn’t quarantine but I have that luxury with my job
