  1. I am thrilled she is appointed so quickly – now the PA Republicans will bring their issue again before SCOTUS, to get an official ruling on whether the PA Dems can allow ballots to be counted with no postmark and no corroborating signature! The rogue PA Court ruled the Dems can, of course – now I pray fervently she will see the wrongness of it & rule so there’s a 5-4 to keep PA’s ballots clean!

Yes.  We will get to learn real soon what we got.

  3. Please, Pencilvania, it’s Madame Justice Amy Coney Barrett. We’re conservatives here; the proprieties must be observed.

    Lovely drawing, BTW.

This is winning. Winning is good.

I’m still not tired of winning. Trump hasn’t delivered on that promise yet, but I voted for him anyway.

He made promises that he has not yet made good.

But he has worked harder on keeping campaign pledges than any president in my lifetime.

    God bless President Trump.

  6. At long last, and probably too late, the GOP has begun behaving like the Dems.  Think how far along we’d be if instead of being terrified by Trump’s victory, they had all jumped on board in 2017!  If they had allowed Trump to  get the wall money by budget reconciliation!  If McCain hadn’t risen from the dead to scuttle health care reform!

Its like they finally realized they have a winner, a popular charismatic president! If only they had realized it while we still had control of Congress.  Oh but nah, it was all about not offending the Dems , about the golden rule.

Remember James Hodgkinson?  The pusillanimous Right was all “Don’t blame the Left! How would WE like it?”  And look at the result:  a violent assassination attempt to decapitate our government, on the scale of which we haven’t seen since Lincoln’s death, IS NOT EVEN MENTIONED—while the Left repeatedly brings up the “fine people” lie!

There was one tentative sign that the GOP had nascent gonads and that was the Garland nomination.  Mitch “If Trump wins it will be disastrous down-ballot” McConnell felt his testicles descending and they’ve been growing ever since.  Getting a third Supreme Court justice through was a triumph.

Americans like and generally respect winners.  They’d be lovin’Trump now if his own party hadn’t, perversely, refused to own the victory!

Yeah I’m very much afraid it’s too late. Still it’s nice to  be vouchsafed a vision, even if fleeting, of what might have been.

I don’t want him to fulfill his promise that there will be so much winning I will get tired of winning. I enjoy the winning too much. I hope I never get tired of it.

  8. Did you ever read something that stays with you forever, even though you’d like to forget  it?  Somewhere ages ago, no idea where,  I read the sentence:

”People never pay more attention to a dream than when it is dying.”

    That is a powerful quote.

Yes.  We will get to learn real soon what we got.

I heard, but could not confirm, that she decided to not participate in the voting issues before the court.   If true, we have another major fail.  With the number of Supreme Court judges appointed by Republicans that turned out badly with regard to what the rank and file desire, one would think the Federalist Society would lose credibility.

Trump must have imposter syndrome. He keeps selecting people based on resume in place of people like himself.
