Remember Joseph, David, and Moses. Joseph was falsely imprisoned, and even after helping the cupbearer, remained in prison two full years before he was remembered. David was in exile for years being pursued and/or hiding from Saul. Moses spent 40 years in exile in Midian after killing an Egyptian. None of them were forgotten by God. The endured by His grace, and he had plans for them even when they couldn’t see the point of what they were going through. Hold fast to Him, and trust in His provision and endurance which is beyond what we can do ourselves.

Insanity. Does the first amendment no longer apply to military members?

You’re right to be concerned about this. Social justice tends to only favor the oppressed. It is in direct contradiction to biblical teaching such as Leviticus 19:15 “You shall do no injustice in judgment; you shall not be partial to the poor nor defer to the great, but you are to judge your neighbor fairly.”

  • An update: after seeing a dermatologist, he was fairly confident I had been bitten by something or exposed to a plant while hiking, and this has all been a reaction to that. Two days into the medication he prescribed, it already is no longer itching and appears to be clearing up. He also was certain the prior two doctors had both misdiagnosed the illness and misprescribed the medication I should have been taking. Appreciate the prayers and continued prayers that this will continue to clear up

Wasp sting swelling is gone and seems to be healing. Don’t know about the other. Still getting more places, and the new ones are more like huge hives than small bumps. I’d feel better if I thought the doctors had a clue what was going on instead of just taking a cursory glance and guessing.

It’s been a rough month here. Broke in some sort of reaction to…something. First doctor thought it was folliculitis from swimming or possibly a reaction being bitten by something while hiking. After 10 days on antibiotics/steroids, the itchy bumps are fewer but have not entirely cleared up. Doctor today thought they looked more like bug bites and gave me an ointment to smear all over tonight then wash off in the morning. On top of that, I was stung on the wrist by a wasp yesterday which is now swelling and itching. Would appreciate prayer for both and peace of mind as I’m only home…[Read more]

I heard an interview with a Pakistani missionary who thinks she will never be released because the government is afraid it would set off riots.

Heart is fine. Hiked four mountains in the last week. Drove 600 miles for work. Exorcised the evil woman out of my life. I’m spent, but I’ll live.

This is a coordinated attack and was supposed to culminate in Gerson’s piece in WaPo today attacking conservative Christians. It’s why the Left spent all weekend trying to drum up outrage over illegal alien children except they were too stupid to realize the photos they were using were from 2014 during Obama’s admin. There is no sincerity in pieces.

They’ve been blocking a lot of things today. Blocked the links to the Page-Strzok texts as well as the expose on Feinstein’s aide hiring Fusion GPS after the election to push the Russian collusion hoax.

My heart tests came back with no abnormalities. At this point, they tell me there is nothing further unless I black out again. Thanks for your prayers

    • I am happy they found nothing wrong but it is not nice knowing the cause. Praying.

Off the wire; just waiting for results

8 more days of wearing a wire. I feel like I’m working deep cover

Nothing I’m aware of. So far every test has come back normal. No diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer, brain tumors, liver problems, epilepsy. At least we’re eliminating things. At this point, I won’t be surprised if the heart monitor shows nothing either.

Lightheadedness immediately before is all. Apparently arrhythmia can cause them

After blacking out a few times over the last few months, I’ve been through a battery of tests with everything coming back normal thus far. I’m wearing a heart monitor for the next 30 days to check for arrhythmia. Otherwise feel fine. I’d appreciate prayers for healing as well as peace of mind in knowing what the cause of the blackouts is.

    • Praying.
Do you have any warnings before a blackout? Does arrhythmia cause blackouts?

    • Brother, is there any common factors? Are you in stressful situations or is it just random?
I have some relatives that have arrhythmia. My mom at of nowhere fell down and broke a hip.

      Please keep us updated.

    • When will you know the results? I wonder if a PM to Civil Westman would help. He might give a line on something that flies underneath the radar physically.

    • In 2005, I experienced several random black-outs. The only symptoms which preceded them (but often happened without a black-out and spontaneously want away) were pain in my jaw and sometimes (much less often) my left arm.

After using the heart monitor, this was diagnosed as due to ventricular tachycardia, which, in my case, was due to a congenital constriction in one of the heart’s arteries which fed its internal pacemaker. When that was deprived of blood, the ventricular muscles “free ran”, which did not effectively pump blood, and it was lights out.

      Once diagnosed, the tre…[Read more]
